We had a wonderful experience. Got there first thing after we woke up, and I have to say they made my morning. We had a B.E.C and a Fat Boy, along with a raspberry and a blueberry Danish. She offered to cut the danishes in half for us so we could each try both flavors. The shop has such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Next time we're in Mesquite, I'll be bringing my sons.
I love their BEC on one of their made fresh daily bagels, amazing. My favorite is the jalapeño cheddar. And they always have incredible desserts! The staff is always so kind and helpful, love it here
Stumbled on Fat Dough driving from Zion to Vegas - the name (and other reviews) caught my eye, and wow, I’m glad it did! I’m from Australia and this little cookie stop was worth the travel! The woman behind the counter was so warm and welcoming - you could tell she genuinely cared about her customers and loved what she does. It felt like stepping into a cozy neighborhood spot where you’re instantly treated like a regular. That’s why I prefer independent bakeries/coffee shops compared to the big chains. Tried the banana cream, pumpkin & chocolate cookie, and oatmeal pecan cookie - all doughlicious 😉 Perfect pit stop, sweet vibes, and even sweeter treats. Don’t drive past this one!
This is the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Great start to a road trip! Very friendly staff and quick service. They are more than happy to answer questions you have and greeted us with a smile. The maple frosting on the cinnamon rolls is DELICIOUS. Their cheesecake cookie and lemon curd are great, too. I wish we lived closer so we could come back often! Definitely a stop for us in the future. Thank you!!

Drove all the way to Fat Dough Bakery for having Mama’s out of town day trip. Friendly staff gave me samples of their pastries. Had Club sandwich breakfast there. Now I have place to go other than Vegas, just one hour drive!
This is truly the finest bakery in Mezquite. Every product is made with exceptional quality and care — the bread is simply outstanding. The service is warm, attentive, and professional. We had the pleasure of attending their anniversary celebration, and everything was a complete success. You could truly feel the support and happiness of all their loyal customers. Juan outdid himself with the wedding-style cake — it was absolutely incredible! Congratulations to Juan, Ara, and the entire team for their dedication and excellence. I sat outside with my bike gear, relaxing enjoying a breakfast that kicks your day into gear. Great portions, great flavors, and a team that makes you feel welcome every time. If you’re in Mesquite, this place absolutely belongs on your must-visit list. Thank you! I’ll be back!
The team is friendly and takes care of customers promptly. The selection of house-made pastries is varied. Everything from breads and bagels to muffins and cookies to danishes and cinnamon rolls. Today we tried the sausage egg and cheese on everything bagel and a still warm sticky bun. It was delicious!!
